Pastor Rommie M. Diola serves as the pastor of Greater Vision Baptist Bible Church in Catmon, Cebu, Philippines. His journey in ministry began after he came to faith in Jesus Christ during a Bible study held in his family’s home. After his conversion, he felt called to prepare for ministry and enrolled at Temple Baptist Bible College in Dumlog, Talisay City, Cebu, where he completed four years of Bible training.

After graduating, Pastor Rommie served in several churches before spending eight years working in his home church in Liloan, Cebu. Over time, he felt a growing burden to begin a new ministry in the northern part of Cebu. Together with his wife, he stepped out in faith and started a pioneering church work in Catmon.

For the past two years, Pastor Rommie and his wife have been faithfully building the ministry from the ground up. The church currently serves adults, children, and families through Bible study, youth discipleship, children’s ministry, feeding programs, evangelism, and community outreach.

Pastor Rommie’s vision is to see people come to know Jesus Christ, grow spiritually, become more Christlike, and eventually be equipped to serve others. He also hopes to see the ministry expand beyond Catmon into neighboring towns, establish additional churches, and one day build a permanent church building where the congregation can worship and serve the community more effectively.

His heart for ministry is centered on the Great Commission: sharing the Gospel, making disciples, teaching the Word of God, and helping others become faithful followers of Christ.
